Vacuuming

You do not need to vacuum prior to your booking as our technician will vacuum as part of our service to you and we use commercial grade vacuum cleaners with turbo heads and hepa filters to remove as much dry dirt as possible.

However, if your carpet is heavily soiled some of these pollutants can become airbourne in which case it can help if you do vacuum first. This is because by removing dirt trapped in your carpet you will encourage other airbourne pollutants to settle and become trapped in the carpet so that they can be removed by our technician while cleaning.

Furniture

In general, it is best if you can pack away smaller items and have the floor as clear as possible prior to your booking.Your technician will be able to move some smaller furniture items for you, but please be aware that he will not move anything too.

Not move anything too large, heavy or fragile, or anything that may cause damage if placed back on the carpet before it has dried fully.Please just talk to your technician if you have concerns about furniture and he will do his best to accommodate.

Quality Equipment

We recommend steam cleaning for all of our residential clients as it is widely recognised as the most thorough cleaning method.With a steam clean your carpets will be slightly damp following cleaning and we say it should typically take.

Between 2-8 hours for your carpet to dry fully, depending on weather conditions and the type, style and condition of your carpet.However, you can help to speed this process up by encouraging air-flow or by running a dehimidifier if you have one.

Pricing & Payment

We like to make things as easy as possible for you, so the cost of your carpet cleaning will be exactly what you were quoted (unless you have additional areas or your clean differs from what was quoted). This is our promise to you!

Our vans also carry mobile eftpos for your convenience so our technicians are able to accept payment by cash, eftpos or credit card on the day.
If you will not be able to meet our technician at your booking please let us know in advance and we may be able to arrange alternative payment options for you.

Carpet Cleaning for Households with Children or Pets

We love children and pets but they can increase the likelihood of accidents and spills as well as bringing in more dirt (and in the case of pets – hair and dander). We also understand that if you have young children crawling around on your carpets the need to have a thorough clean with eco-friendly chemicals becomes even more important!

For this reason we do recommend professional carpet cleaning by a qualified technician more often than the annual clean that we would recommend for households with less heavy use. As a general rule of thumb, if you have children or pets we would recommend 6-12 monthly cleans depending on your amount of use and particular concerns and requirements. However, this is perhaps most apparent for people with compromised immune systems, the very young or old, and those who suffer from allergies.
